Gulf Energy Coiled Tubing Services offer a variety of conventional and specialized coiled tubing tools. Specialty coiled tubing tools are essential to implement new and advance coiled tubing technologies. Gulf Energy Coiled Tubing Services' portfolio of coiled tubing tools for standard bottomhole assemblies includes connectors, check valves, and disconnect assemblies, knuckle joints, centralizers, fixed and rotary wash tools. With our Joint Venture operations, Gulf Energy brings state-of-art technology CT Tools to its portfolio.
This tool incorporates a cycling valve that momentarily interrupts the flow to create water-hammer pressure pulses inside coiled or jointed tubing used in horizontal well interventions. These periodic pulses also vibrate the tubing, which reduces friction drag and extends the lateral range of the tubing by delaying the onset of helical buckling and lockup. The tool can also be used for stimulation purposes as it provides better placement for acid and stimulation fluid.
Stim Jet Perforating (SJP) is an alternative to traditional explosive perforating methods that uses high pressure abrasive fluids to perforate the casing and extend a cavity into the reservoir. The tool can be used independently or in conjunction with other tools to provide multiple perforations in a single trip. The tool has recently proven to work as a stimulation technique when pumping acid/sand to bypass near well bore damage in open holes.
The FLATpak™ umbilical technology features a rectangular matrix design, encapsulating multiple coiled tubing strings or electrical conduits into one uniform body using a high strength thermoplastic jacket.
FLATpak™ is a Revolutionary Coiled Tubing Umbilical Technology developed in 2007 and commercialized in 2008. FLATpak™ patent pending technology is designed to meet the current industry challenge of finding flexible and cost effective means to deliquify low-permeability sand, shale, and low pressure marginal production wells. The FLATpak™ umbilical features a rectangular matrix design, encapsulating multiple coiled tubing strings or electrical conduits into one uniform body using a high strength thermoplastic jacket.
FLATpak™ umbilical can be configured to convey and actuate virtually any artificial lift system into an oil or gas well. FLATpak™ can also be used to deploy pumps for well cleanout service operations and remove liquid, sand, or bitumen from filled wellbores.
FLATpak™ provides a cost effective and convenient means of conveying downhole pumps. In a single service operation, FLATpak™ can convey production tubing, capillary injection strings, and electric cable for an ESP deploy. Regardless of its components, FLATpak™ maintains the same rectangular shape so that conventional coiled tubing units can deploy it.

Based on pump designrequirements, wellbore chemistry and pressure/temperature parameters, theoutside diameter, and wall thickness of the tubing can be designed to meet almost any application. Further, there are outside diameter coatings and alternative alloys available that can make this system compliant for corrosive applications.
